Are you concerned about drug and alcohol misuse among children today? Do you want to do something about it?
How to Drug Proof Your Kids® (logo)With your help, Care for the Family wants to enable parents to feel more confident, skilled and better equipped to help their children make good lifestyle choices when it comes to alcohol and drugs. And this is why we introduced How to Drug Proof Your Kids® (DPYK) – the popular drugs education programme for parents – to the UK in 2003.

To become a Licensed facilitator for DPYK you must have successfully completed the Facilitating Groups module and the Parenting module BEFORE attending this familiarisation day. To find dates and details of these courses please click here.

A teenage girlIf you have already successfully completed training with another recognized provider, we may be able to approve your prior learning The training would have to be at Level 3 or equivalent and covering the essential topics in this module.

Familiarisation Day Fee: £150.00 inc VAT

This fee includes the DPYK manual, facilitator pack and lunch.

Experience shows that these courses are most effective when two people work together. So we are pleased that we can offer, for every place booked, a second one at the special rate of £100 inc VAT.


Please note that we are unable to make refunds against any cancellations. However, cancellation insurance is available. Details will be sent to you when you book. We regret that we are unable to accommodate babies and children at this event.
