St John’s Mill Conference Centre near Tynwald Mills is generously hosting a Family Film Night to support the work of Care for the Family on the Island.

Most grandparents desperately want to be involved in their grandchildren's lives. And in a world where so many people - especially young people - feel insecure and somewhat disconnected, children need their grandparents.

Rob Parsons writes... When my son Lloyd was young, he’d love to watch motor-racing on television. It was one of the few occasions when Dianne and I could relax, safe in the knowledge that he would stay out of trouble at least until the end of the race!
