Welcome to Care for the Family’s web-page about ‘Pester Power’
Care for the Family asked parents to submit their top tips in a survey about how consumerism affects children, and how parents can cope with ‘pester power’.
Parents submitted over 1,000 tips on a variety of topics, including mobile phones, body image, and pocket money. We put some of the best tips into a booklet called Pester Power: Families Surviving the Consumer Society.
From this web-page you can order extra copies of the booklet, find out about other helpful books, resources and courses, and sign up for Care for the Family's free email newsletters.
