Quidz In – raising financially confident kids

Do you want to help parents teach their children to manage their money wisely? Then get involved by becoming a Quidz In facilitator.

Following on from the success of How to Drug Proof Your Kids®, Care for the Family has developed Quidz In, a new community programme for parents. Its unique blend of skills, information, and practical, fun things to do at home with children, helps parents teach them sound money management principles.

The two-day training (mapped to National Occupational Standards for Work with Parents) equips you to deliver this programme in your own community. You can find out more about Quidz In itself at www.quidzin.org.uk

Who’d make a good Quidz In facilitator?
Someone with:
  • Experience of working with small groups
  • The support of an organisation – for example, your work, faith or community group; or you will need to provide character references
  • Links with groups of parents, or the ability to make these links
And the good news is – you don’t need to be a finance expert! Care for the Family’s comprehensive materials will enable you to deliver this exciting, new resource to the parents you know – and we’ll provide you with ongoing support and the opportunity to gain Open College Network (OCN) credits.*

Quidz In is ideal for extended \ community foccussed schools, and is also suitable for those providing low-key, informal parenting support.

And after the training?
We don’t forget you once the training is over. As a licensed facilitator, you’ll have access to a freephone helpline. You’ll also receive a regular, free newsletter and web-based support.


Price
Statutory or Corporate Sector: £279 per person (incl VAT)

Individual place or Voluntary Sector: £199 per person (incl VAT)

Experience shows that the effectiveness of Care for the Family community programmes can be enhanced when delivered by more than one facilitator. So we are pleased that we can offer, for every place booked, a second one at the special rate of £149 (incl. VAT).

*There is an admin charge of £25 for OCN registration.
