Recycle - and support family life

Did you know that you can turn your old mobile phones and empty printer cartridges into cash for Care for the Family?

Currently, the vast majority of old mobile phones and empty printer cartridges are disposed of as normal waste when, in fact, a high proportion of them can be recycled for reuse. Care for the Family is working with Reclaim-it to collect these items and recycle them. This will raise funds to support family life and reduce the impact on the environment in the process.

All you have to do is recycle empty printer cartridges and unwanted mobile phones that would normally be thrown away. You can take part in three ways:

Photo of a recycling envelopeYou can request a freepost envelope and simply pop your mobile phones and inkjet cartridges in the post to Reclaim-it, free of charge.

Photo of a desktop box You can also order envelopes in a desk top display box for your office, school, shop, leisure centre or church building, and encourage your colleagues, customers or friends to recycle, too!

Photo of a floor standing collection box For larger workplaces that go through lots of printer cartridges, you can order a floor standing collection box. These take inkjet and laser toner cartridges as well as mobile phones. When it’s full, all you have to do is contact Reclaim-it and they will collect it and provide a new box free of charge.

You can request your freepost envelopes or collection boxes by contacting Reclaim-it by telephone on (01635) 876900 or by email at info@reclaim-it.com You will need to quote Care for the Family as your nominated charity.

For more information on how you can make a difference by recycling, please visit the Reclaim-it website.

Thank you so much!
