Take a Break 2012

Time to take a break...you deserve it!
Take a Break logo
“I will never forget this holiday. It has given me hope for the future. We can be happy as a single parent family and I think I can keep going.”

If you’re a single mum or dad, with children aged 5 – 16, and you’re looking for a week’s holiday with a difference, come and Take a Break with us. We can promise you plenty of new, exciting activities, the prospect of making new friends and the opportunity to have fun as a family secure in the knowledge that you’re among people who understand your situation.

Most of the single parent families who have come on Take a Break declare it to be the best family holiday they have ever had.

Take a Break holidays are planned by Care for the Family in partnership with Christian outdoor activity centres. Trained and qualified instructors will lead the activities. No previous experience is needed. Each Take a Break will include a ‘Thought for the day’ which is Christian-based – attendance is optional.

Accommodation
You will stay in a variety of twin, family or shared rooms, as appropriate to the age and sex of your family members.
