Northern Ireland Office Area Representative
When my husband, Stephen, and I had our first child we found Care for the Family’s resources and events very helpful and it was great being reassured we were not on our own in this parenting journey!
Moving to a new town three years ago I discovered many people hadn’t heard of the great work that Care for the Family do; so I became an Area Representative to help ‘spread the word’. I put up posters in shops, the library and doctors’ surgery, and distribute leaflets and flyers to local schools and churches. It may not seem like much, but if everyone helps in small ways we can collectively make a big difference in our families and communities.
ADMIN SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS

Get involved with Care for the Family
Thanks so much for considering supporting Care for the Family. There are a range of ways in which you can get involved in supporting our work in your local community.
Over the years we have trained hundreds of people as licensed facilitators to deliver our family building courses and resourses on behalf of schools, councils, churches, or in their own name. If you are interested in training in this way, take a look at the range of high quality evidence based courses we have available.
We are also looking for volunteers to join our growing networks aimed at providing support and training to couples, parents, and those facing some of life's most difficult situations, right across the UK. Care for the Family is a Christian charity, and for some of our volunteer roles we are looking for people able to represent our Christian ethos. There are a range of roles available however, so whatever your faith perspective you can get involved! You can also get involved by raising money to support our work. To find out more about our community fundraising click here.
