Events Production Coordinator

Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)
Location:
Care for the Family, Tovey House, Cleppa Park, Newport, NP10 8BA
Duration:
1 year (fixed term, maternity cover)
Reports to:
Events Production Manager
Salary: £27,032 per annum
Closing date: Monday 5 January at 9am
(Interviews to take place on 14 and 15 January)

Job purpose

We’re looking for someone who can play a vital part in planning and creating a wide range of events. This role includes creating event running-orders and PowerPoints, designing stage-sets, reviewing feedback, compiling music playlists and working with speakers on their content. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to bring each event to life – from the initial ideas to the final delivery.

If you have good organisational skills, initiative, strong attention to detail and some creative flair, this is the ideal role for you. You will be working at the cutting edge of creating new life-changing events to support families around the UK.

Specialist Support Manager

Head of Engagement
Salary: £33,500 – £38,500 per annum
Closing date: Monday 5 January at 9am

Job purpose

The Specialist Support Team are part of the Engagement Department, providing personal support to family members experiencing particular challenges. The team seeks to offer support that is timely, accessible and compassionate, resulting in people feeling better equipped,
less alone and more hopeful for the future.

Currently the team offers support for parents who are widowed young, bereaved parents, single parents, and parents of children with additional needs. This support is in the form of befriending, gatherings (in person and online) and regular newsletters. In addition, we have a support phone line (Careline), and trained counsellors who respond to those who phone in seeking support for their family life struggles. Finally, the team includes training in the use of our Bereavement Care Awareness course.
