Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager will work closely with the Finance & Operations Director to develop people capability across the organisation.

The HR Manager must be a driver of change, who is passionate and enthusiastic about making a difference for our people. You will be an experienced HR generalist, a natural influencer with the ability to challenge and coach staff and managers on all aspects of the employee life cycle.

You will also be hands-on in the development and streamlining of HR processes and procedures, employee relations and continue to establish consistent and effective HR management across the organisation and developing our data systems and reporting to deliver more value for the organisation.

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Salary: £33,000 – £37,000 per annum (depending on HR experience)

Duration: Permanent

Strategic Engagement Telemarketing Team Member

The role of the Strategic Engagement Telemarketing (SET) Team Member is to be the voice of Care for the Family to our valued supporters. The SET Team Member will make outbound calls to supporters with the aim of encouraging event attendance and word of mouth event promotion. 

The ideal candidate will be warm, empathetic, engaging and kind. If this is you, and you have the skills required for this post we’d love to hear from you.

Location: Remote working with the option of working at the Care for the Family HQ in Newport

Hours: Part-time contract, fixed-term position totalling 185 hours a year

Salary: £15/hour

Operations Coordinator

Key responsibilities will be to ensure that all the practical arrangements for in-person live events/conferences are in place and run smoothly including (but not limited to) accommodation, transport, road teams, technical provision, speaker-liaison, preparation and packing of materials and resources, venue liaison and arranging sufficient volunteer stewards at each event in accordance with our guidelines. 

The ideal candidate will also regularly road manage events and work as part of the road team where necessary (up to 8 weeks a year touring all over the UK). 

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Salary: £24,614 per annum

Duration: Permanent

Communications Administrator (Social Media)

Care for the Family has a new opportunity for a Communications Administrator to join our Communications team. This post will help develop our social media content, creating engaging posts and campaigns and commission others to supply supporting video and web materials. We are looking for a creative individual who can organise social media campaigns and create vibrant and engaging content that communicates Care for the Family’s heart to strengthen family life.

Hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week

Salary: £21,630 per annum (pro-rata)

Duration: Up to 12 months (maternity cover)
