Online facilitator training

Our high-quality Time Out for Parents Facilitator Training is now available online.

Our practical and interactive, high-quality training is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to work effectively in groups with parents.

In response to COVID-19, while our face-to-face facilitator training was unavailable, Care for the Family developed a new online facilitator training. The training is a combination of online learning, as well as live group sessions with the trainers.

To run our core range of parenting courses you will need to gain a core Facilitator Licence by first completing the online learning, and then attending three days of live group sessions with our trainers. The training will be split into two parts. In order to attend the live sessions, you will first need to have completed the online learning.

The live group sessions will be conducted using Zoom. If you have not used Zoom before, it will really help to become familiar with this software before attending the live sessions. We’ve put together a handy guide which will be sent out prior to the training.

For the best training experience, we strongly recommend that you access the live sessions via a PC or laptop. Please note that it is not possible to undertake day two of the Part One training using a mobile device.

Care for the Family’s primary purpose is to strengthen family life in the UK and the Isle of Man. Whilst this event is available online, unfortunately, on this occasion, we are unable to take bookings from anyone who is residing outside the UK and the Isle of Man. For more details please click here
