Our practical and interactive, high-quality training is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to work effectively in groups with parents.
To become a licenced facilitator to run our core range of Time Out for Parents courses, you will need to gain a core facilitator licence by attending Part One and Part Two of our training.

Part One is delivered through a combination of individual online learning to be completed prior to live sessions with the trainers.
Part Two is delivered through a combination of individual online learning to be completed prior to live sessions with the trainers.
In spring 2022 we are running one combined set of face-to-face facilitator training (subject to government guidelines).
The Learning Hub access will be from 3 March 2022, and the content for both Part One and Part Two should be completed by 22 March 2022.
The live sessions for Part One and Part Two will be held on Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 March 2022, at Care for the Family’s head office – Tovey House, Cleppa Park, Newport, NP10 8BA.
Along with the option of coming to one of our training centres to train as an individual or with others, our high-quality training is available in-house allowing you to make the arrangements for your workforce or volunteers at a time and place convenient for your organisation.
Please contact us to find out more about our in-house training.
We may be able to approve your prior learning if you have already successfully completed training with a recognised provider. Your training would have to be at a minimum of Level 3 and cover the essential topics in this training course.
If you think you may qualify for approved prior learning, please complete our Approved Prior Learning form.
In addition to our core courses we also have a specialist course, Children with Special Needs, which contains additional sessions on both ASD and ADHD. To be licenced to deliver this specialist course, you would need to attend an additional 1-day training. For more information, click here.
